April 2011, Centre for Creative Education has obtained full access to JSTOR, a website repository of more than 1000 academic journals, 15,000 books, and one million images, letters and other primary resources. A login is required for full access (students and staff may contact Willem van der Velden for the login), but anyone may search the database and view citation information. www.jstor.org Through the African Access Initiative JSTOR's generosity has effectively increased student access to library resources exponentially. Of course, because CFCE specialises in Waldorf education pedagogy, our physical collection of books and journals will continue to remain vitally important to the learning activities of our students. Through this same program, CFCE has access to digital collections hosted by Aluka, www.aluka.org. The two main collections are African Cultural Heritage Sites and Landscapes, and Struggles for Freedom in Southern Africa, containing tens of thousands of images and documents.
